There has been much media speculation this summer regarding Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer and interest from Arsenal.  Arsene Wenger could still be looking for a new goalkeeper. Here is the latest update on Schwarzer . According to the Sun,  Arsenal are trying to make a deal go through for Mark Schwarzer in a week's time.

The article states that Arsenal had a bid of £2million turned down earlier this summer by Fulham for Schwarzer. The story mentions that Arsenal are preparing to increase their bid to £3million for the goalkeeper.

I have been following the speculation for awhile now regarding Mark Schwarzer and interest from Arsenal. I will continue to have updates on this rumor. Mark Schwarzer recently played in the World Cup for Australia.
