I have been following the Mark Schwarzer saga since June. With the transfer window closing in less than a week, could the rumors be coming to an end? Here is the latest speculation regarding Mark Schwarzer and Arsenal. According to the Metro, Arsenal's pursuit of Schwarzer might have ended.

The Metro article discusses that Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has indicated that no deal for Fulham's Mark Schwarzer is close to happening. The story goes on to mention that Arsene Wenger could be turning again to Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given.

The rumors of Mark Schwarzer possibly going to Arsenal, and playing at the Emirates have lasted most of the summer. I will continue to monitor this saga until the transfer window closes. Only then will this Schwarzer speculation be completely over.
