I have written in this rumor column earlier this month to interest from Birmingham City in Bobby Zamora and Paul Konchesky. For fulham fans unfortunately these stories are continuing.
The Daily Mirror is reporting today that Birmingham City about to try again to land Bobby Zamora and Paul Konchesky. The article mentions that Birmingham City made contact before the end of the Premier League season regarding the two players. According to the article Fulham's CEO Alistair Mackintosh was not interested in a deal.
This Daily Mirror story states that Birmingham City is about to contact Fulham once again about both players. In the case of Zamora the article mentions Birmingham City might offer him a new deal that could be around £50,000-a-week.
The ball is in the court of Fulham. I wrote on May 16th, that Fulham could be working on a new deal with Zamora to keep him at Craven Cottage for four years. This was according to an article in the Daily Mail.
Let's hope Fulham come to new terms with Zamora and hold off the interest of other clubs. I also hope they can hold on to Paul Konchesky. As you can tell this is a story that continues to grow. I will update the site with any new information I can find.
