Could Fulham Be Doubling Roy Hodgson's Salary To Fend Off An Approach by Liverpool?

With all the stories regarding potential interest Liverpool might have in Roy Hodgson, I was curious what Fulham might do to keep their manager. Well it looks like they could be offering more money to their manager. According to the Sun, Fulham are preparing to double the salary of Roy Hodgson.

Roy Hodgson's agreement with Fulham is a 12 month- rolling contract worth £1million a year. According to the Sun article, Mohamed Al Fayed is getting ready to double Hodgson's salary to £2million. Also, the article states that  Fulham have not had any contact from Liverpool yet. But, they are preparing to battle to hang on to Hodgson.

The Hodgson story continues to have many twists and turns. We'll have to wait and see if Liverpool make an approach for Hodgson. I will have an update on this story when more information becomes available.
