Cottagers Daily Rumor Mill: Could Nottingham Forest Be Making A Move For Nicky Shorey?

According to the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest might have interest for Nicky Shorey . The story mentions he is thought of to be a £2.5million transfer target.   He did play last season for Nottingham Forest in nine games on loan from Aston Villa. Nicky Shorey then came to Fulham on loan from Aston Villa on February 1st of this year.

 The 29 year old left back went back to Aston Villa after the Fulham season ended. I reported back on May 20th that both Fulham and West Ham could be interested in Shorey. Now, it is possible that Nottingham Forest could be interested in his services as well.

Shorey was solid last season for Fulham. I was hoping that Hodgson would try to bring him back to Craven Cottage. Now, with Nottingham Forest possibly entering the race, if Fulham are interested in Shorey they might have more competition to land him.
