There has been media rumors over the weekend that Liverpool might be contacting Hodgson prior to him leaving for the World Cup. Roy Hodgson will be leaving Wednesday to be a part of the BBC coverage of the World Cup.

“We have had no official approach from Liverpool about Roy Hodgson.” a club spokesperson told Goal.com UK.
