I have an update to the transfer speculation regarding Fulham striker Bobby Zamora. According to the Daily Mirror Bobby Zamora wants to sign a new contract with Fulham. The story  talks about that Zamora wants a new agreement with Fulham whether Roy Hodgson stays or goes. There has been speculation that Alex McLeish was very interested in signing Zamora.

The story discusses that McLeish had approached Fulham about Bobby Zamora and Paul Konchesky in the past. The story does not give any update on the speculation around Konchesky. The article mentions that now Birmingham City could possibly make an approach for Robbie Keane of Tottenham.

If this speculation is true about Zamora this is great news for fans of Fulham. It is important to keep your key players and this would be a huge step in the right direction for the Cottagers. I certainly understand why Birmingham City had interest in Zamora. He had a phenominal year. I hope Zamora and other current Fulham players want to be at Craven Cottage in the future.
