I saw this very interesting rumor this morning. According to the Daily Mirror, Eidur Gudjohnsen could have a desire to come to Fulham. He played last season on loan with Tottenham. At this point Tottenham have not extended his loan or signed an agreement with him from is parent club Monaco.

According to the article, the chairman for Tottenham Daniel Levy is not willing to make a deal with Gudjohnsen at this point. The story points out that Fulham are in the lead to land his services. Other Premier League clubs interested in his services include Stoke and Blackburn. However, the article mentions that Gudjohnsen is content in London and a move to those teams is unlikely.

The interesting part of this story is that it mentions that Roy Hodgson has been highly involved with Gudjohnsen's representatives to try to make a deal. The 31 year old Icelandic striker formerly played for Chelsea , Bolton and Barcelona. Could Fulham steal him away from White Hart Lane? This would be an interesting coup for Fulham,  if this rumor is true and the club could bring him to Craven Cottage. I will be falling this story closely.  I will have an update if more information becomes available.
