It should be a very busy season for the Rumor Mill in the upcoming weeks. Today I have a new rumor that involves a young Arsenal player. According to Skysports.com, Fulham might have interest in Arsenal's Jay Simpson. He is a 21 year old forward.
According to the Skysports article, the young Arsenal player has spent most of the last 3 seasons on loan. Last year with Queens Park Rangers, he scored 12 goals in 39 appearances in the Championship. The article mentions that West Ham and Millwall might also be monitoring Simpson.
The skysports.com article also has quotes from Simpson's advisor Uben Gray. In his quote below he discusses how Simpson might leave Arsenal.
"Jay has had discussions with Arsene Wenger and Arsenal," he told skysports.com.
"Everyone at the club only has good things to say about Jay, including Arsene, but they appreciate he needs to be playing first-team football.
"And so they are ready to let him leave, but only if the deal is right for all parties."
