I had a post about AS Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen on July 10th and possible interest from Fulham. I have an update on his potential transfer possibilities. According to the Daily Star, Gudjohnsen might not be able to return to Tottenham Hotspur. He ended last season on loan to Spurs. He then went back to AS Monaco after the season ended.
The Daily Star article mentions that Tottenham Hotspur already have four good options at striker. The story also discusses that even if an opening happens at striker for Spurs, Harry Redknapp could go in a different direction. The article talks about that Spurs could target players like Edin Dzeko or Craig Bellamy. Fulham could be an option for the Icelandic striker as Gudjohnsen is wishing that the Cottagers are interested in him according to the Daily Star.
I have been following the Eidur Gudjohnsen story for awhile now. I will continue to update this speculation regarding the player, and possible interest from Fulham. Gudjohnsen actually scored last season for Spurs against Fulham in the FA Cup.
