The Mark Schwarzer speculation continues to grow. According to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are thinking of making an improved bid for the the Fulham goalkeeper to bring him to the Emirates. The story mentions that earlier this summer Arsenal had an offer turned down by Fulham for Schwarzer.
The London Evening Standard article goes as fas as saying that Schwarzer and Arsenal have reached personal terms privately to bring him to the Emirates. Yesterday, I had a post that Fulham denied that any transfer request has been made by Mark Schwarzer.
The Mark Schwarzer situation is still in the hands of Mark Hughes and Fulham. Schwarzer is signed until 2011. The speculation of Mark Schwarzer potentially leaving Fulham and going to play at the Emirates for Arsenal has been around most of the summer. I will continue to follow where this speculation takes us next. Let's hope there is a resolution to this situation soon.
