Rumor Mill Update: Latest Speculation Surrounding Mark Schwarzer And Arsenal

Here is the latest Mark Schwarzer rumor regarding Arsenal. According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to make a £2.5million transfer agreement with Fulham for Mark Schwarzer. The story states that Arsenal have already had a £2million transfer fee rejected by Fulham for the Australian goalkeeper.

The Daily Mirror story also suggests that if Schwarzer is to move to Arsenal and play at the Emirates, that could open the door for Fulham to get Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given as a replacement. So this speculation regarding Schwarzer would indirectly effect three teams.
