Here is the latest speculation involving Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given that could indirectly effect Mark Schwarzer and Arsenal. According to Wayen Veysey of Goal.com, Shay Given's prior shoulder injury is an issue Fulham's medical team are analyzing. The story states Given's shoulder injury is the sticking point right now for a loan deal to happen between Fulham and Manchester City.
According to the Goal.com story, if Fulham are able to bring in a quality goalkeeper that could open a transfer of Mark Schwarzer to Arsenal. The injury situation with Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given seems to be the hurdle that could effect Fulham and Arsenal.
This story also mentions information about Fulham's other goalkeeper David Stockdale. He was injured during the game against Blackpool. According to the Goal.com article, Stockdale could have knee ligament damage and might be out for two months. The story discusses that Fulham could be considering Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici as a possible replacement for Stockdale. The potential Federici transfer is considered a deal for a back up goalkeeper, and should not be involved in the situation with Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given. When more information is available I will have an update on the Given situation that could effect Fulham and Arsenal.
