This was a game of good news, and bad news for Fulham. The good news for the Cottagers was a second half comeback led by two goals by Moussa Dembele. His second goal came in stoppage time in the second half. Fulham outplayed Wolverhampton in the second half leading to a 2 - 1 victory.

The bad news for Fulham was Bobby Zamora getting hurt midway in the first half. Reportedly according to the television broadcast, Zamora has broken his ankle. He could be out for some time.

Regarding the game, the performance by Fulham was at a high level. The Cottagers controlled the play especially in the second half. The victory could be somber because of the Zamora injury. However, the bright spot of the match was how well the team rallied in the second half and earned the victory.

In the first half, Fulham really came out strong controlling the play in the beginning of the match. As in many football matches all it took was one mistake to lead to a goal by the opposition. In the 10th minute, Kevin Doyle sent a great pass to an open Jelle Van Damme. He slammed the ball past Mark Schwarzer, and Wolverhampton were suddenly in the lead. John Pantsil made a mistake on this goal as he did not pick up Van Damme.

Midway in the first half Bobby Zamora was making a run and got tackled by a Wolverhampton player. Just as it happened you could tell it was serious as Zamora was showing that he was in pain. They took him off in a stretcher. Later in the match the announcers mentioned that Zamora had broken his ankle.

The rest of the half saw Fulham controlling the play, but they just could not break through with an equalizing goal. The first half ended with Wolverhampton leading 1 - 0.

The second half saw Fulham come out real strong. It would not take long for Fulham to get the equalizer. In the 48th minute, Moussa Dembele received a ball inside the box from Stephen Kelly, and drilled it past the goalkeeper. Fulham were now level at 1 - 1.

The second half saw Fulham control the play of the match. In the 52nd minute off of a corner kick, Zoltan Gera shot a bicycle kick that just went over the net. This was followed up minutes later by another shot by Moussa Dembele that went over the net.

All of this pressure by Fulham led to an event in the 57th minute. Simon Davies received a pass, and was one on one with the goalkeeper. He was tackled, and no penalty was called on Marcus Hahnemman. This was a controversial non-call by the referee.

As with many Fulham matches the game would come down to the closing minutes. In the first minute of stoppage time, Moussa Dembele scored on a free kick from 25 yards out. Dembele was truly special today, and showed Fulham fans that he could be a star of the future. With his goal Fulham took the victory 2 - 1 at Craven Cottage.

The negative of this match was the injury to Zamora. I will be following his injury, and will have an update on it when more information is available. On the positive, Fulham came from behind once again, and earned a victory. The cardiac Cottagers pulled out a 2 - 1 victory over Wolverhampton.
