Zamora Reportedly Out Of Action Until February

Here is the latest update regarding Bobby Zamora's injury. According to the Daily Mail, Bobby Zamora's return has been shifted back to the earliest being in February. The story states that Fulham manager Mark Hughes commented that Zamora is likely out for five months.

The article mentions that Zamora had surgery on Sunday to repair his broken fibula. During the surgery it was revealed that there was also ligament damage according to the story.    

The Daily Mail story also has quotes which are below from Fulham manager Mark Hughes discussing the recovery for Zamora.

Mark Hughes said, 'Bobby's had his operation. He will now be in bed with his leg elevated for two weeks.'
'The operation showed ligament damage so we're probably now looking at five months.'

This is a set back for Fulham. However, as I posted on monday it has been reported that Andy Johsnon could be returning in a month's time. He is a striker that could be an option for Fulham in Zamora's absence. Zoltan Gera is also another player that could be part of the mix at the position as well.
