Fulham are looking to take Arsenal's Andrei Arshavin on when the January transfer window opens in little under two month's time.
We were linked with the Russian over the summer after the winger found himself in exile at the Emirates but no deal went through.
Instead, Jol is looking to spend some of his now extensive transfer kitty on the international during the mid-season window, meeting Arsene Wenger's £1 million valuation without much trouble.
In the latter stages of last season, Arshavin joined his formed side Zenit St Petersburg on loan yet, although impressing again in his native land, no deal between the clubs came to fruition and the player himself is keen on staying in England and, more specifically, London.
It is also thought that the opportunity to link up with someone of the ilk of Dimitar Berbatov will appeal to the Arsenal man, who is attracting interest from all over Europe.
