Chadli agent says Fulham will always be an option

FC Twente winger has interest from Italy but would prefer a move to England

The agent of Belgain international Nacer Chadli has said that Fulham will always be on the player's agenda and that a move is very much a possibility once the season ends.

Martin Jol is known to like Chadli, having been made aware of his talents while managing Ajax in the Eredivisie. As a winger, he's not exactly what the Fulham squad crave but Jol is so eager to bring him in that a move may well go through regardless.

Nothing is set to happen in January, however, with Chadli's club, FC Twente, keen to hold onto their best players as they push for the league title and a place in next season's Champions League.

Speaking to Calcio Mercato, the player's representative, Daniel Evrard, said:

"A transfer to Fulham is always on the agenda."

Evrard, though, was keen to stress that Fulham aren't the only club chasing his client, but, despite that, Chadli's preferences have been made clear.

"I know that Genoa and AC Milan consistently send scouts to Holland [to watch him].

"He prefers to go to England."
