Rodallega to join this week?

Over the last few weeks, speculation has been growing over the future of former Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega with different sources saying that he was going to visit Everton, Stoke, Aston Villa and Fulham to see their facilities.

In the last few days, rumours have been rife that he was set to join Everton this week and with the odds with different bookies dropping below evens, it looked a fair bet.

However, last night both The Mirror and The Sun are claiming that he's chosen Fulham as his new destination and will join in the next week.

When Steve Bruce 1st signed him, he seemed a perfect fit for the Premier League showing pace, power and the ability to lead the line as a lone striker. The following season and in his 1st full season, he scored 10 Premier League goals and the likes of Arsenal were said to be interested. His final season at Wigan though was blighted with injury and what appeared in his final games, a reluctance to play in case injury affected a summer transfer.

If the stories are true, I will be very happy to welcome Hugo to Fulham and believe his pace and strength will be an huge asset to our front line. It would be excellent business, especially on a free transfer.
