Martin Jol has renewed his interest in Blackburn Rovers midfielder Steven N'Zonzi, after closely following the player's fortunes earlier in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

At that point, Fulham's interest dried up as Jol turned his attention to other prospects. Now, though, with very few targets even reaching the negotiations table, N'Zonzi has again become a realistic signing to cover the departure of Danny Murphy.

The player himself is eager to leave Blackburn and Craven Cottage would appeal to him, but our Dutch manager isn't the only one keen on bringing him in. Stoke City and Sevilla are believed to be chasing his signature too, while Everton have recently made an enquiry.

Steve Kean, the Blackburn manager, is happy to sell after the 23 year-old refused to play towards the end of last season.
