The Norwegian press are claiming that the unknown foreign club that have made an offer for Molde defender Vegard Forren is unlikely to be Fulham.
From England, Manchester United and Everton are believed to have also expressed an interest in the centre back but Molde, now managed by former United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, are keeping their cards close to their chest with regards to a potential overseas suitor.
Clubs from across Europe are also known to be looking at Forren and Solskjaer admitted that the player was in advanced talks with another club.
"Vegard is not travelling to the national team camp, because we are in the final stages of negotiations with another club," Solskjaer told Romsdals Budstikke.
"It's possible that Vegard will go for a medical check-up and negotiate his personal contract."
Sky Sports then went on to report that the unknown club was in fact Fulham.
However, hours later, Norwegian sources have claimed that these reports are untrue.
RBNett, a Norwegian sports website, state that a major European club are indeed in the latter stages of negotiations with Molde, but that Fulham are not that club.
