One goal. That's all that was needed to dispose of Norwich in a huge match for Fulham that saw them overcome their former Premier League partners. Young Sean Kavanagh was the difference after netting the eventual winning goal in the 22nd minute, his first for the club. The Whites were lucky to maintain their lead as Norwich was awarded a spot kick shortly after the beginning of the second half. To our relief, Grabban managed to hit his shot off the bar and the lead was held until the final whistle blew.
Kit Symons has now gained 9 out of 15 possible points which, in my opinion, seems to be enough to maintain the managerial position. It should be noted that Tim Hoogland left early in the first half with an apparent head/face injury. We're unsure about the extent of that injury at the moment, but Elsad Zverotic filled in for the injured German in the meantime. Fulham's next test comes this Tuesday as they travel to take on mid-table Rotherham, looking to take full points again as we begin to climb the table in the Championship.
