Tunnicliffe and Cole on Their Way Out?

Larnell Cole and Ryan Tunnicliffe have been seldom seen with Fulham as of late, and their fates in Southwest London soon could be decided.

Get West London is reporting that the former Manchester United academy products have been demoted to the Fulham U21's in another move by Felix Magath that may leave some scratching their heads. Both who were brought in by former manager Rene Meulensteen in the January transfer window last season have struggled to find playing time under Magath, seeing themselves carry out loan spells once arriving at the club.

Cole has only appeared once for the Cottagers, a substitute during the 2-2 clash at Old Trafford last winter. He was then quickly ushered off to MK Dons for the remainder of the season after being deemed a surplus to the squad.

Tunnicliffe, on the other hand, made three Premier League appearances for Fulham last season, one of which under Magath. He also appeared for Championship side Wigan five times while on loan. He was a part of the first two preseason matches this season, starting once against Rangers.

I can understand this in regards to Cole, as he has never seemed to be in Magath's plans since the German took over the squad. It is a bit more puzzling in Tunnicliffe's case, as he provides needed depth and versatility in midfield. Still only 21 years old, I believe the former Manchester United Academy player of the year still has the talent to help out a Fulham side that faces a rigorous schedule in the Championship. All we can do is wait and see if these two will be added to the mass exodus that still continues at Fulham.
