Fotheringham appeared 28 times in all competitions last season for the League One outfit as he also tallied a goal to his name during the process. Felix and his staff were able to watch him play as a trialist against Rangers and East Fife this preseason and decided it would be right to bring him onto the squad.
The Scotsman began his career at Celtic before moving on to the likes of Dundee, Norwich City, and SC Freiburg, to name a few. He saw the most playing time for the Canaries, as he appeared a total of 69 times for Norwich over two seasons with them in the Championship. Fotheringham can play all central midfield positions, including attacking and defensive, and looks to provide added depth to a young and thin center of the park. He will wear number 26.
