Match Report: Fulham 1 - 2 Ipswich Town

These are getting sad to write.

(Ed note: this is 3-4 days late. With apologies. Been very busy, plus losing all our games means there isn't much to talk about.)

A 16th second goal from Freddie Sears, as well as a second half goal in which he assisted, made it seven games without a win for us on Tuesday evening.

The visiting side took the lead in almost insane fashion, as Sears ran towards our defence and let fly from the edge of the box, straight past the reach of Andrew Lonergan to make it 1-0 in just sixteen seconds.

Luckily enough, Ross McCormack made it level just fourteen minutes later, when his 30-yard free kick sailed into the bottom left corner to make it 1-1.

But the visitors put the nail in the coffin in the second half, when Sears' cross found its way to Brett Pitman, who steered it home to make it 2-1, keeping Ipswich in 6th place, while we dropped to 18th.

Lets just hope tomorrow's better.
