Lewis, 27, spent last season on loan at Blackpool, appearing 36 times for the Seasiders. This season, back at Cardiff to begin the year, he found himself as the the third-choice keeper behind captain David Marshall and Simon Moore.
By moving to Fulham, Lewis will slot into the immediate backup role to Andy Lonergan, who was thrust into the starting position at the weekend after the serious knee injury to Marcus Bettinelli last Wednesday versus Hull City. There's a chance we could see Lewis given the start in cup matches, but the feeling is Andy Lonergan will start the vast majority of the remaining fixtures this season.
