The scorer of Fulham’s late equaliser Scott Malone, reflects on the result from the difficult fixture against Sheffield Wednesday this past weekend. The full back began saying; "Slightly disappointed with the end product, we had a lot of possession.”
Fulham’s overall mentality to retain momentum shone through with the left back stating; "Mixed emotions in there, not too excited and not too downbeat, it's a good point to move on."
Malone addresses the difficulty the side is met with when facing different opposition at home; "At times they had six at the back and two or three in front of them, it's very hard, I think that's why we get results away from home, because teams are coming here, sitting in their shape and frustrating us.”
The left back was unreserved of Fulham’s current inefficiencies; “We need to find a bit more sharper passing, more fire in us to break teams down."
The side are optimistic for the away fixture against promotion challengers Brighton & Hove Albion. The defender was quoted in saying; “A big game for us and we're looking forward to it"
Malone foresees a high intensity game ahead next weekend. “They don't concede many goals and we're scoring a lot away" it will be interesting how they set up."
