Johansen left disappointed after Wolves slip up

Fulham's midfield maestro gives his insight of the weekends match at the Molinuex Stadium.

Fulham's all action midfielder reflects on a rollercoaster afternoon at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molinuex Stadium, with an exclusive interview with FulhamFanTV: "We were disappointed because we were 2-1 up"

Johansen expressed his delight in the sides performances during the opening 45 minutes: "We played really well in the first half”.

He continued by stating the lack of efficiency portrayed by Fulham after the break: "They got some easy goals in the second half".

"We couldn't maintain what we did in the first half, that's why we were disappointed".

The Norwegian hailed the match as a 'weird game' but remains focused, suggesting that Fulham have to aim at taking the positives from the performance.

Stefan Johansen bagged his third goal for the club since arriving from Celtic in the summer, although he may of not been aware of it at the time.

"I just shut my eyes and shot with my right, it was a lucky goal" he explained.

"It's important for the midfielders, not only the strikers to score goals and assist, so I want to continue with that".

The Norwegian then went on to say he is 'enjoying' his football right now, with the attention shifting to the midweek game, when The Whites host bottom of the table Rotherham United.

"They [Rotherham] are bottom of the table, we can't go in with that mentality, we need to treat it as every other game and be focused".

The midfielder finally rounded off the interview by stating that if the club continue to play their style, he's sure they will win the upcoming fixtures.
