It is time to finish the 2015/2016 Player Profiles, and it should not be a surprise to anyone that Ross McCormack is our player of the season. After another tremendous season with Fulham, Ross has found himself in a new squad that is undergoing a massive overhaul. Many new players have been brought in that can aid in the attack including Sone Aluko and Floyd Ayite. With their pace and McCormack's pure skill Fulham will look to climb the table towards the playoff places.
Ross McCormack
Appearances: 45
Goals: 21
Assists: 9
WhoScored Rating: 7.21
Goals: Ross has single handedly kept us up this season. His goals were crucial to keeping us in games, and even when he didn't score, his very presence allowed other players like Moussa Dembele and Tom Cairney to blossom. His freekicks are superb and his finishing is probably the best in the league. He doesn't score using pace, he scores using pure skill.
Assists: Ross came up with crucial assists throughout the season. Some came off his freekicks, while others came from his eye for a pass. He does a tremendous job of keeping his head up when he dribbles, which helps him pick out the best ball. With all of his assist, one could argue he was more creative than Cairney.
In conclusion, Ross McCormack is a superb player for Fulham. He is the single most important player for Fulham I have ever seen. It would be a crime to sell Ross, and I hope he stays for years to come.
