Preston North End versus Fulham Preview: Three Questions with Lily White Magic

Preston had a pretty good season for a newly promoted squad. Can they repeat it this year? Will they fall back? Will Fulham’s good form continue? There are a lot of storylines heading into this match, we try to get answers to a few of them.

Cottagers Confidential: Preston finished pretty much middle of the pack last year. What makes you think this year will be any different?

Lily White Magic: Well I’m not totally convinced we’ve made enough quality signings. Plus, this time we’re not an ‘unknown quantity’. With so many quality sides in the division this season, I think it will be a lot tougher and can’t see us doing as well.

CC: Who were the biggest additions? The biggest departures?

LWM: Ben Pringle and Tommy Spurr who look to be quality additions to the side (albeit the latter is injured), plus we signed 2 of the players we had on loan. I don’t think we’ve done enough though and we now urgently need to bring in another right back.

CC: Who are you picking for your top six? The bottom three?

LWM:
