Slavisa continues to speak about his “project”

Slavisa continues to be a breath of fresh air in these interviews. He says what he means, doesn’t sugar coat a lot, and doesn’t seem to want to suffer silly questions. I’m not sure we glean much new information, but I do enjoy the pre-game talk.

Slavisa re-iterates that there isn’t an ‘A’ and ‘B’ team. He’s going to use the team he 100% believes is best for each game. How true that is, is up to debate.

He’s also still eager to sign more players even though he likes the young players and the way they are working. He continues to refer to Fulham as his project. He doesn’t want to put them under too much pressure but does see them as a big part of the future.

When asked about Cauley Woodrow, he stated that all the players have the chance to start. He wants players to help each other no matter what the role, whether it’s playing 45, 5, or a full game; or cheering the others from the stand.

When asked about the busy start to Fulham’s season (five games in 15 days), he says that the team still needs fresh blood and more blood.

He also thought the fans have been fantastic this season. He wants to continue to give them a reason to support. He wants to show them ambition and quality so that they will want to watch and cheer the team on.
