This weeks addition of Cottage Cheese sees the Cottagers coming off the back of a successful midweek game against Leyton Orient. Fulham played a squad full of youngsters who were able to see off a resurgent Orient side 3-2.

The midweek game gave Fulham the momentum into the weekend’s game, away at Preston North End.

Fulham new boy Aluko opened his tally for the club and the first of the evening, with Matt Smith scoring his second of the season. Preston managed to pull one back but the Cottagers hung on for their second win of the week.
