Cottagers Confidential Fantasy League: Gameweek 1 Recap

Alrighty! Gameweek one is over and the results are in. Hopefully you all finalized your team picks before the servers decided to crash ahead of kickoff. The top three as the league stands are:

1. 70 pts - Hammedstringham FC (who could have had 74 points if he started Hojbjerg over Sigurdsson and Heaton over Valdes)
2. 68 pts - bunch of kantes
3. 67 pts - EasyWins/Barry Leathercushion

Gameweek one always seems like it leaves people feeling one of three ways: really smart, really stupid, or a mixture of the two (which is where I’m at right now. I started Erik Lamela who got 9 points, but also played Patrick van Aanholt... who came home with a single point. Don’t ask me why PVA made my starting 11)

Having said that, if you’re feeling stuck and in need of some advice please feel free to comment and discuss! I will certainly try to do my best and hopefully some others will join in as well.
