Fulham's FIFA 17 Player Ratings: The Dispute

It's that time of year again, FIFA is on the verge of hitting stores across the world. Let's assess some of Fulham's ratings this year.

With the latest addition of FIFA about to hit store shelves, we look ahead at some of Fulham's ratings this term.

The summer signings numbers represent their form at their previous clubs, which leaves only last season's players respective upgrades and downgrades to assess.

It's hard to argue with some of the downgrades of last season's roster after a disappointing campaign. However it is hard not to feel that EA's representation of Fulham's squad may be a little short of the mark.

Michael Madl was one of Fulham's stand out players in the second half of a dismal season. With EA implementing a new and improved rating system dependent on player position. Seemingly with a +1 upgrade from 69 to 70 overall being an injustice on his performances, with no improvements to his defensive base stats.

I was equally surprised to see Scott Parker retain a gold rated card. EA Sports are renowned for stunting players stats as they reach the latter stages of their careers. However as Fulham's ever present captain, I am glad to see Parker remains as one of Fulham's higher rated players.

Ryan Fredericks has made the jump from a 61 rated bronze to a 65 rated silver this season. With FIFA mainly only upgrading the right back's pace from a 84 pace to an impressive 91.

Lasse Vigen Christensen was an optimistic spark in a dismal season for Fulham. Although the Dane’s overall rating has increased by 1 from 66 to 67, I am disappointed to see his stats have either remained the same or been downgraded.

As aforementioned it is hard to argue with player ratings off the back of a diabolical season. Tom Cairney provided 8 goals and 6 assists for The Cottagers last season. The Scotsman has seen his rating jump from 71 to 73, with his current stats similar to that of last seasons. However I feel that he should have minor improvements to his pace, dribbling and shooting.
