Quick Thoughts: Nottingham Forest

Fulham fought hard and probably deserved more than the 1-1 draw they got at Nottingham Forest.

We started the game on top, but after a thunderous Bendtner strike that hit the bar, we started to worry.

Matt Smith then had a massive chance with a header that drew a fantastic save from Stojkovic.

We continued to press with Aluko and Smith having efforts blocked, Button then made save to keep things at 0-0. Carayol continued to press and had a good opportunity but the ball ended up in the side netting.

At halftime it was 0-0 and I think we fancied our chances.

Aluko had to score on the 46th, completely missing the net from all of 2 yards. Odoi then took an elbow to the face and Fulham were with 10 men for a couple minutes before he returned.

On the 60th minute, former Fulham man Pajtim Kasami crossed the ball over Tim Ream and Nicklas Bendtner slotted it home for 1-0 to Forest.

After an Aluko goal was ruled out Chris martin came on for Lucas Piazon in the 66th minute.

On the 74th, Fulham equalized after Odoi headed a Malone cross back to Tom Cairney who slotted it home for 1-1.

On the 80th, Sessegnon replaced Malone.

On the 86th, Forest almost had a winner but the danger was scrambled away.

On the 88th, Adernian replaced Cairney.

On the 89th, Chris Martin almost opened his account with a crisp strike that dre a good save from Stojkovic.

The match ended after 4 minutes of stoppage time. We looked the better side for most of the game but we still need improvement in our finishing. On the plus, Chris Martin looked lively and hopefully will revive his form.
