Scouting Reports from Earlier in the Month

With the transfer window coming to a close here are some Scouting Reports of Chuba Akpom, Nicholas Llanos, Thomas Heurtaux ,Rob Kiernan, Nouha Dicko, and Aiden O'Brien.

Could the interest in any of these players be reignited in the dying days of this transfer window?

Chuba Akpom:

Club: Arsenal

Goals: Senior Squad 0 U23s 3

Assists: Senior Squad 1 U23s 1

Appearances: Senior Squad 1 U23s 3

WhoScored Rating: N/A

Chuba Akpom was once considered a top prospect in English football; but after failing to secure a loan move in the summer and succumbing to a back injury, Akpom has found himself in the reserves. He has only feature once for the senior squad in the EFL Cup, but he has performed well in the U23s. People should keep in mind that the quick striker managed to feature for hull 36 times last year, scoring three goals. Akpom plays with pace and could complement Chris Martin up top, the major dilemma is if he is just a young Sone Aluko. If Akpom could only be signed on a loan I would suggest looking at other targets. However if a fee for a permanent deal could be agreed, something under 3 million pounds, I would love to see him arrive at the club.

Nicholas Llanos:

Club: Hajduk Split

The youth midfielder for Hajduk Split name Nicholas Llanos is rumored to be subject of interest from Fulham. Llanos has yet to feature for Hajduk; so, if he joins, he would be a signing for the future by Fulham.

Thomas Heurtaux:

Club: Udinese

Goals: 0

Assists: 1

Appearances: 8

WhoScored Rating: 6.29

Thomas Heurtaux was one name linked to Fulham earlier in the transfer window. The Udinese center back has struggled for game time this year only appearing 8 times. He was a critical player for Udinese in past years, but has dropped off more recently. He coul;d be looking for a move away to revitalize his career, but with the resurgence of Time Ream, Fulham seem unlikely to make a deal.

Rob Kiernan:

Club: Rangers

Goals: 1

Assists:0

Appearances: 21

WhoScored Rating: N/A

Rob Kiernan was a name that was strongly linked to Fulham early in the transfer window, but he seems to have fallen off of Fulham's radar. Apparently, his performances have fallen off too. After a dreadful showing in the Scottish Cup, and uninspiring performances in the League Fulham will almost definitely be looking elsewhere for a center half if needed.

Nouha Dicko

Club: Wolverhampton Wanderers

Goals: 0

Assists: 2

Appearances: 16

WhoScored Rating: 6.24

Dicko's name should sound familiar to Fulham fans. He has appeared against us once already this year, and has caused us problems in the past. However, I wouldn't be all too excited to see him in white. He has not turned up at all for Wolves this season and looks a shadow of his former self. With Floyd Ayite and Neeskens Kebano returning, Dicko would be an unnecessary and uninspiring signing.

Aiden O'Brien

Club: Millwall

Goals: 11

Assists:  3

Appearances: 33

WhoScored Rating: N/A

Along with Akpom, Aiden O'Brien of Millwall is the only other player in these reports I would like to see at the Cottage. O'Brien has bagged plently of goals for Millwall in league one and would provide depth at the striker position. With rumors of Matt Smith departing solidifying, I would not be surprised to see O'Brien brought in, and he would be cheap.
