Fulham today have announced the departure of Matt Smith, via the club's official website.
Smith, 27, started the season strongly with a powerful header to help see off Newcastle United on the opening night of the season, but has since struggled to secure a permanent position in the starting XI.
The towering forward has made the switch across West London to club rivals QPR in a deal worth an initial £500,000, that could potentially raise to £1m with performance add-on’s.
With now Smith, Woodrow and Humphrys all departing Craven Cottage, with the latter two out on loan respectively, are we likely to see an educated signing or that of another panic buy?
